Премія Сомерсета Моема

«Премія Сомерсета Моема» — англійська літературна премія, якою щорічно нагороджуються об'єднання письменників «Society of Authors». Лауреатами премії можуть стати молоді письменники у віці до 35 років. Преміальний фонд становить 12.000 £.

Премія була вперше впроваджена Сомерсетом Моемом у 1947 році, для фінансування відрядження за кордон ряду молодих письменників.

• В історії премії було два випадки, коли нею нагороджували батька та сина. У 1955 році нагороду отримав Кінгслі Еміс, а у 1974 році — його син, Мартін. Аналогічний випадок відбувся з Найджелом Нілом (1950), та його сином Метью (1988).
